India’s Vinesh Phogat has advanced to the semi-finals of the women’s 50kg wrestling event at the Paris Olympics 2024. She achieved this by defeating world number one Yui Susaki and Ukraine’s Oksana Livach. Phogat will now compete against Cuba’s Yusneylys Guzman Lopez for a chance to secure a place in the final.
